This leads into another flashback of Charles Lee Ray's pre-doll life, in which he led a group of kids around at an orphanage Peter Pan-style and showed them a man he'd killed. He searches "Good Guy Doll Chucky Homicide" on his phone and ends up scrolling through articles referencing a slew of Child's Play references, namely Tiffany Valentine (Jennifer Tilly) and Nica Pierce (Fiona Dourif), who were first introduced in Bride of Chucky and Curse of Chucky, respectively. Just down the hall from Junior, his best friend Devon is doing some of his own detective work. Meanwhile, Junior is undergoing a procedure to make sure his lungs aren't damaged, all because his father is worried about his running career despite Junior's protests. They head back to the half-burnt Cross house in search of Chucky and sneak past the officers patrolling the crime scene. Unlike their guardians, Jake and Lexy realize they have to work together. They play the blame game back and forth, with the confrontation nearly getting physical until Detective Evans steps in to deliver the news that Oliver's death has officially been ruled a homicide, making all of them and their kids suspects. Just like last week's episode, we also get another confrontation on the books between Jake's Uncle Logan (Devon Sawa) and Aunt Bree (Lexa Doig) and Lexy's parents. He also warns Jake that his mom is suspicious of him because "she doesn't know you like I do." Not that she can tell her parents about him.ĭevon, up and about, finds Jake in the hallway and lets him in on the circumstances of Oliver's death.
